Returns, Warranty & Claims Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

Beihang Technology is a business-to-business supplier operating through manual quotations. The website does not provide public prices, online payment, or automatic order acceptance. Every sale is governed by the accepted written quotation, pro forma invoice, invoice, or other written agreement for that transaction. Those transaction-specific terms take priority if they differ from this general policy.

Confirm the requirement before ordering

The buyer is responsible for reviewing the exact manufacturer, model, part number, revision, quantity, condition, compatibility context, destination, and required timing before accepting a quotation. Server generation, socket, interface, firmware, sector format, drive carrier, cable, rail, power, thermal, and OEM restrictions may affect compatibility. A shared family name or similar appearance does not by itself confirm compatibility.

Condition, testing, and evidence

New, refurbished, tested-pull, open-box, matched-batch, cosmetic, packaging, health-report, and testing requirements must be stated before the quotation is accepted. The written quotation should identify the agreed condition and test scope. Representative catalogue images or descriptions do not guarantee the exact unit, batch, serial number, health value, firmware, stock, or packaging unless the written offer specifically confirms it.

Pre-shipment confirmation

Where agreed, we may provide label photographs, serial or batch references, test evidence, packing photographs, or other pre-shipment confirmation. The buyer should review requested evidence promptly. Shipment after written approval does not remove any warranty expressly included in the accepted quotation, but it confirms that the supplied identification and visible evidence were reviewed at that stage.

Transit damage or shortage

Inspect the outer carton, seals, labels, quantity, and visible condition when the shipment arrives. If there is visible damage, shortage, or carrier irregularity, preserve the packaging and obtain photographs or video before unpacking further. Notify both the carrier and Beihang Technology within the claim period stated in the shipping documents or accepted quotation. Carrier claims may require the original packaging, delivery record, and timely evidence.

DOA and warranty claims

A dead-on-arrival or warranty claim must be reported within the period and under the test conditions stated in the accepted quotation. Provide the order or quotation reference, product and serial labels, quantity affected, installation platform, photographs, video, diagnostic logs, health reports, and a clear description of the failure. We may request reasonable remote checks to distinguish a product fault from compatibility, firmware, configuration, power, thermal, cable, carrier, or shipping issues.

Return authorization

Do not return products without written return authorization and shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed. Returned items should include the original labels, serial identification, accessories, protective packaging, and the authorized return reference. Responsibility for return freight, duties, insurance, and risk in transit follows the accepted quotation or the written return authorization.

Items generally not eligible for return

Remedies

After a claim is verified, the applicable remedy may be repair, replacement, credit, refund, or another written solution, depending on the accepted quotation, available replacement stock, failure evidence, and applicable law. No refund, replacement, restocking fee, or freight allocation is automatic unless confirmed in the transaction terms or return authorization.
